Yung6ix urges Davido, Burna Boy to end feud

Nigerian rapper, Yung6ix has admonished Afrobeats superstars, Davido and Burna Boy to end their ongoing feud.

According to the rapper, it is not ideal for two of the biggest Afrobeats artistes to continue with their rift because it could escalate.

The singers are said to have been at loggerheads for some time and it remains unclear what led to their beef.

According to Yung6ix, nobody wins when the family feuds.

Taking to the microblogging site, Twitter, the rapper said:

“David and Burna gotta end that beef cux the peeps around em are so loyal they can take it to the next level.

On God u know n—gas ready to let that 400 sing for you; let’s not take it to that level cux all it takes is one wrong scene. Nobody wins when the family feuds. ”

The feud between Burna Boy and Davido could be traced back to early 2020 when the DMW boss dubbed himself and Wizkid the ‘Greatest of all time’.

Burna Boy subtly insinuated in an Instagram post that Davido lacked musical prowess. He berated his skills; and stated that the sinegr’s success is primarily due to his father’s wealth.

Burna Boy wrote on Snapchat;

“You cannot play football. Everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team. But your daddy bought the football team.”

At the time, both artistes were promoting their respective albums, Twice As Tall and A Better Time.

During the early hours of Friday, November 13, Davido released his 3rd studio album, A Better Time, a project Burna Boy would go on to describe as ‘floppy disk‘.
